Pioneering provider boosts player reach with comprehensive deal

Game developer Evoplay Entertainment has partnered with SlotCube – introducing the social casino operator’s European-based players to a high-tech suite of premium quality casino titles.

The agreement sees Evoplay Entertainment’s 100+ games integrated with the brand’s free-to-play offering, ranging from the Japanese-inspired instant game hit Pachin-Girl to the football-themed Penalty Shoot-out, as well as its hugely popular classic, Book of Keno.

Speaking during the follow-up analyst call, Playtech CEO Mor Weizer said regulated revenue would continue to grow, although the company would “continue to support those markets that we believe over time will become regulated”.

“Unregulated is not illegal,” he asserted. “We will continue to support those markets that we believe over time will become regulated.

“Our investment is going into regulated markets, and yes over time we will likely consider pulling out of certain markets. I think Playtech has done a very good job, [regulated revenues] are more than 85%.”

The company attributed this positive financial momentum to growth within its digital channels. 

Digital gross gaming revenue represented 64.5% of the parent company’s total in H1, up 3.6 percentage points from the previous year.

Registered customers increased to approximately 2,672,000 at the end of June, an increase of around 50,000 from the previous year.
